how liddat?
wow not eating carbs is tougher than i thought it would be. :( it's even harder when u're eating out! and when your spouse loves carbs. and when your daughter loves pasta and rice and bread... sigh.
anyways, did i mention that i'm an amateur baker. yup. goes against everything primal eh? i guess i just have to make adjustments. like making flourless cakes, and using avocado instead of butter or something. eh wait, butter is ok right?? have an order for 3 boxes of cupcakes tomoro, vanilla and choc and all things sugary and carby. MUST RESIST TASTING!!
still reading the 21 day transformation, having a chicken salad for lunch later. wheeeee!

21 day transformation book finally arrived!
Wheeee got the book in the mail today! So excited to start reading it and going primal for reals!
Wait, you mean I haven't been primal the past couple of weeks?? Unfortunately... Only semi primal. Been having way smaller portions of rice and way bigger portions of veggies. Eating my meat without guilt. Saying no to non-delicious desserts. I make better desserts than the stuff I can buy anyway. Ha. Ha. Except for awfully chocolate. Their stuff is divine.
Ok so I'm gonna read the book cover to cover and start this weekend. Got 3 weeks to go until my week-long beach hol and I need to fit into my burms. Haha.
Don't think I'll have a problem with not eating rice and pasta but the baked goods are gonna be damn hard to give up :(

mark's daily apple rocks
so, i stumbled upon MDA while surfing the net... and i got hooked. whatever he wrote made so much sense! i was immediately intrigued and felt so validated about the way i'd been thinking for a while.
a bit of background:
i've never been skinny or been remotely close to what one might call 'slim'. this is bad, seeing how my dear Singapura is full of mostly petite, slim people. case in point- i'm 1.65m (5'4") and i'm considered TALL. the people i met who were the same stature as me were very few and far between. this of course took a toll on me. my entire teenage life i was always trying to fit in. the only break i had was when i went to Australia for university. it was brilliant, being around people my size. then, came back to work and it started all over again.
fast forward to today, i'm married with a toddler and guess what? i'm still battling my body.
today i read about finding your tipping point. ohhh no wonder i haven't been successful! so here i am, creating a blog, so there can be some sort of tab keeping. bear with me, i prefer to write than type. might end up seeing scanned pages from my diary instead. haha.
primal living starts now. onwards!
